ABOUT THE
CREATOR OF THE STUDIO
By Joseph E. Eibe .
Owner and Producer
Born in December of 1966, in WIllows California. But of all one who really stands out about my family, was my dad. Who got polio in 1943 , and after a few business ventures, started an Insurance Agency with a man who had lost his sight in a hunting accident. for the 1950's, this was very odd.
Growing up, in what can basically be described as ranching county, I did a lot of creative things with things I found around town that no one wanted. And some were thrown out immediately by my mom, until I was older and could hold on to them better.
I began costuming at a very yound age. Around 2 years old. Which was mainly putting pieces of clothing together. My first built costume I made (With my mom's help) was a Santa Clause costume I made for a High School Haunted House. (I won first place in my age group.) And made some superhero costumes as well as some odd uniforms.
Growing up, I began making more elaborate costumes. I started to learn to sew around age eight, and got to use the machine when I was about fourteen.
I started making props about the same time, First with cardboard and masking tape. I made a replica of the helm and navigation console, and some square robots. Which has carried me over into my TRANSFORMER costumes.
Over the years, as my interest in everything media and artistic grew, I began absorbing information. Kind of becoming a New Renaissance man in the process. Knowledgeable about almost everything, but master of none.
It tool a while for me to really home in on what I wanted to do, but finally I just got it into my head to start a studio and make comics, movies and games.
How to accomplish this. Work at everything, and build. When I started this studio, was in the middle of the comic book craze in the 80's and 90's. So I worked on creating some small press publications. But, I could never get enough information to publicize my stuff right. But I did find some small press groups and sent them out for review. And they were mostly positive, but with some extremely odd reviews.
While I was making my comics, I got into many other things. Like Costuming and cosplaying. Which lead me to commissioning my services out after winning two WorldCon competitions. And after finding a magazine from Japan about cosplaying, I decided to make one of my own.
The real problem I have been having is that I am not really internet savvy, and there were no classes I could find to help me, so creating my own website was not plausible at that time. Until someone gave me a publishing program with a webpage maker.
So, I got space on GO DADDY.COM, and re-worked one of my short publications, as well as another comic, and decided to make a web comic.
Although, I still love going to my "local" (Local being 45 miles away) comic book store, and looking. There is nothing like it, but to chat about the latest in comics and what is coming out.
I am currently working on more comics, scripts for animated features, and possible movie projects.
So keep watching.
